We tried out the Lebanese meal yesterday and it was a real hit with my kids. There were a variety of dips 𝘽𝙚𝙞𝙧𝙪𝙩𝙞 𝙃𝙪𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙨 which is their bestseller, 𝙈𝙪𝙝𝙖𝙢𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙖 made out of roasted bellpeppers, 𝙏𝙯𝙖𝙩𝙯𝙞𝙠𝙞, a refreshing dip which is great to beat the heat for these summer days.
Something new on the menu is the 𝙂𝙖𝙧𝙡𝙞𝙘 𝙩𝙤𝙪𝙢, a creamy and fluffy dip made for garlic lovers like me. Also new was the 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙎𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙘 consisting of relatively non spicy green chillies, an accompaniment that completes the Lebanese spread.
We enjoyed this with 𝙋𝙞𝙩𝙖 𝙗𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙 which is homemade and comes in plain as well Za’atar option.
The 𝘽𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙖 𝙃𝙖𝙧𝙖 was a crunchy potato dish seasoned to finger licking perfection. My favourite dishes from this meal were the 𝙁𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙛𝙚𝙡 𝘽𝙪𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙩𝙨 and 𝙁𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙩𝙪𝙨𝙝 𝙨𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙙 which were fresh and zesty.
